The View from Up Here

Somewhere in a plastic photo album stuffed in a box under my childhood bed, there is a photo of my second grade class. My teacher was seated in the middle, surrounded by a group of little second graders. Except one of those second graders was not quite so little…and that one was me!

Fast forward nearly 2 decades and I’m taller than most people in the U.S.,  my country of birth, and taller than almost everybody in Japan, the country I currently call my home.

This is a place for me to put some of the random images, thoughts, observations, and other such things that randomly emerge from the depths of my over-active imagination. For posterity’s sake, if nothing else. (Hi Mom!) But most of all,  I find it interesting, every once in a while, to look back at where I’ve been.
